gARDENING cONTEST

Every year we open registration for the people of Lafond who want to build a vegetable, fruit and flower garden. Then we visit their garden and select the 3 best gardens with prize distribution. This year we are also opening registration  to land owners whose lands are part of the road  side leading to  Lafond on each side  from Besace.  This is about 2 miles worth of road side and this will be a welcoming sight to visitors of Lafond.  A big thanks to Majolie Zephirin and her husband for offering to sponsor this new addition to Konkou Bèl Lakou! This year we are opening the contest to the city of Petit-Goave for 2020-2021.

First Prize: $150.00 

Second Prize: $100.00

Third Prize: $50.00
